Raise your hand if you hit snooze this morning 🙋. The importance of good hygiene goes without saying. Why is it that sleep hygiene is so often neglected? Zombies belong on the Walking Dead, not in the workplace. Wanna sleep like Lebron?
This may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised how many of us suffer from either lack of sleep or not-very-restful sleep. Besides not being the crankiest person in the gym, good sleep habits can help curb inflammation, lower stress, and aid in weight loss.
So- how do you get better sleep? Try turning off electronics (TV, phone, laptop) an hour before bed, dim the lights, or, hell- you could even read a chapter of that book that's been sitting on your nightstand for months to help you wind down.
According to Forbes, Lebron James, Roger Federer, Usain Bolt, and Venus Williams all get 10-12 hours of sleep per night...so, yeah. They must be doing something right.
