Q: Why did you start CrossFit?
A: My friend tried it a few months ago and he fell in love with it. I wanted to see what the fuss was all about! Turns out, it’s the exact type of exercise I have been craving.
Q: Why Octane?
A: Octane is a great place to learn about CrossFit and feel supported every step of the way. There is not a day that goes by where I feel like I don’t belong, or I don’t feel supported by my peers and coaches.
Q: Goals for the year?
A: My biggest goal is to get out of my head and work through the mental toughness that comes with performing at such a high level. Increasing mobility is another goal of mine.
Q: Any advice for the new members?
A: Just get into it! I guarantee you won’t regret it. Even with all of the soreness, you will still leave every class with a smile on your face and your confidence boosted.
