![]() Q: Why did you start #CrossFit? A: Crossfit is a great way to meet people in your community! I've moved around a lot, so Crossfit is an easy way to meet new people and make friends. Q: Why Octane? A: Octane gives me everything I look for in a #training facility, quality #coaching, a #community of like-minded people, and challenging #workouts that push me (often, more than I want to be pushed). Q: Goals for the year? A: To constantly work towards something, whether that's fostering relationships or self-improvement- improving myself physically, mentally, and spiritually. Q: Any advice for the new members? A: Don't let yourself get overwhelmed! It can be challenging to have a bit of restraint when first starting crossfit. You don't have to go ALL IN and RX everything. It will only lead to injuries and frustration.Try taking small steps...pick 1 or 2 movements and work on those. Once you've got those down, then move on to something else!
